Shrapnel: New STX3.1 Playtest with $100,000 Prize Pool

Shrapnel: New STX3.1 Playtest is Coming

The developers of extraction shooter Shrapnel, has announced the upcoming STX3.1 playtest. This event will run for 5 days from June 24 to June 28. Participants have a chance to win a share of 1 million $SHRAP tokens, valued at approximately $100,000.

    Shrapnel gameplay

The $1 million SHRAP token reward will be allocated according to the completion of missions, instead of the usual leaderboard positions. This change aims to diversify the ways players can earn $SHRAP tokens.

Key feature in this new Shrapnel playtest is the ability to craft weapon skins with fragments. Players can now collect different fragments during gameplay and combine three unique fragments of the same rarity to create a custom skin. These fragments are tradable on the in-game marketplace, adding a new layer of engagement and personalization for players.

    How to Participate

To join the STX3.1 playtest, players need to own or purchase an Extraction Pack before the start of the event.

The STX3.1 playtest will feature six same missions, each designed to challenge players and reward them with $SHRAP, weapon skin fragments, and wildcard NFTs.

The six new missions include the following:

    1. Gain 3 kills using the Sigma Wave.
    2. Extract 5 Weapon Skin Fragments.
    3. Extract from The Zone 7 times.
    4. Craft one Weapon Skin using Fragments.
    5. Secure 12 kills with any Suppressed Weapons.
    6. Extract 4,000 Sigma.

Three of these missions will award $SHRAP tokens directly. Additionally, half of the $SHRAP prize pool will be given as bonus rewards to Operator holders who complete all in-game missions.
