Announcement of the third patch in Shrapnel.
The guys from Shrapnel were silent for a long time, and now their silence was broken by the announcement of the new patch STX3 and the launch of the test. Developers added skin crafting, skin trading, and skin fragment features to the marketplace, rewards for missions not only in skins but also in tokens, and changed the test timeframe.
Time goes by, and developers don’t stand still, gradually bringing the game to a playable and presentable state by introducing innovations. It’s been about two months since the last test, and what have we got since then? Honestly, not much. Some textures were added to the “bald” map in some places, unnecessary haze, which will clearly affect performance in the game, and “locations” were updated, showing us a lift shaft somewhere unknown.
In addition to this, developers seem to have decided to move away from the ladder system, but no precise information is observed yet. Conclusions are drawn based on the change in the access timeframe to the game. Now the game will not be open for a certain time within 3 days, but will be fully open for all 3 days. A clear plus for those who could not play within the timeframes set by the developers, but also a clear minus if there will be a ladder.
Shrapnel STX3 starts on 5/23/2024 at 18:00 UTC and will last until 5/26/2024 at 18:00 UTC. (Access to the game will be available to everyone interested for 72 hours.)
We look forward to further information and generous prizes from the Shrapnel developers. In the meantime, you can learn more about the game in our article.
