Nyan Heroes returns with а New Playtest and Airdrop!
Get ready! Very soon Nyan Heroes is expected to have its biggest update and a new playtest. Pre-Alpha Playtest 3 will begin on September 4 and will include: new classes, a new game mode and a fresh map. Early access is provided for Nyan Genesis NFT owners; the game will become available for them on August 22.
Nyan Heroes is a team-based hero shooter where you take on the role of a cat pilot of a giant mech. Use unique abilities and advanced cat movements to achieve goals and defeat your opponents. The game allows you to customize your mechs with a variety of weapons and mods, supporting a variety of strategic playstyles.
Playtest Details
Players interested in joining the test will be able to register starting on September 4th, when testing officially opens. To participate, new players will need to register through the Nyan Heroes Airdrop portal. To qualify for rewards, participants must link their Solana wallet and Epic Games account to their Nyan Heroes profile.
We are also expecting a major update, which will include:
- New Classes: Two new classes are being introduced: the Scout and the Mage, each bringing unique abilities to enhance gameplay.
- New Game Mode: The “Payload” mode involves two teams either attacking or defending a weapons package across a map.
- New Map: The new Erebus map, set in an icy Antarctic weapons base, complements the Payload game mode with exclusive pathways and strategic spots for exciting gameplay.
One of the biggest changes to gameplay is the newly introduced Augments system, which allows players to customize their Mechs with unique power-ups to create loadouts. Each mech will have its own saved configuration, which you can change in each game.

As part of the upcoming Pre-Alpha Playtest 3 in Nyan Heroes, the developers announced a new airdrop season, which will start simultaneously with the playtest on September 4. It should be noted that Nyan Genesis NFT owners who received early access on August 22 will be able to check out the new features, but will not receive bonus airdrop points.
The prize fund will be 5,000,000 $NYAN tokens. Your airdrop depends on the number of points you earn. You can earn points in the following ways:
