Counter Fire Open Beta is Now Live
Last week, the team behind the Asian MOBA game Counter Fire launched an open playtest. A big update was also released for the game, and to whet the interest of players, a distribution of 500,000 $CEC tokens was announced.
After the successful playtest last month, the developers took some time to fix bugs and add new content. The new fresh update is ready and open for all players who want to test out this new MOBA/battle royale game.
What’s New in Counter Fire?
One of the main currencies in the game, Diamond, has been reworked. Now they are used to buy gold. Also users can use diamonds to participate in the Skin Treasure Hunt Event or purchase anything directly in the store. Skin Treasure Hunt Event offers rewards such as emotes, hero fragments, Gold, NFT fragments, and skin fragments.
Also, for purchasing diamonds, you will be eligible to participate in an additional $CEC airdrop, available only to those who have topped up their wallet. If you still have diamonds from previous events, you will receive them to your account as an airdrop.
Chip System Changes
The chip system has undergone some changes, now opening the chip slots will be a little easier. However, chips now have their own quality rating and can “decompose.”
In addition to the chip changes, new items have been introduced into the game – the Hero Crystal. Judging by the name, they are intended for leveling up heroes and improving their skills.
Changes have been announced to the rules for obtaining chests for the All-Hands Bounty event. Chests can now only be obtained by exploring and defeating enemies on the event map. There is no chance of receiving a treasure chest if the account luck value is 0. For convenience, a preview of possible loot from chests in All-Hands Bounty has also been added, showing the probability of rewards dropping.
Collaboration with Bitget Wallet
In addition to the main playtest, the project is holding a joint event for users of the Bitget Web3 wallet. With a prize fund of 600,000 $CEC.
There are a large number of quests available to complete. But the simplest and most profitable is the quest in which players simply need to connect a Bitget wallet and play 5 matches to get a share of the $220,000 $CEC pool.
