The Beginner Cup is a new tournament within Summer Clash. A series of competitions that kicked off in June 2025 with various rewards for a limited number of registered players to compete for every month, including $WF tokens.

The series is back yet again this month with its 3rd event so far, and is once again geared towards newer players.

For this August’s Beginner Cup, the tournament format is a double elimination bracket. Where 64 players play in 1v1 Best of 3 battles for both Winner and Loser brackets. While the Grand Finals are played in a Best of 5. There are deck restrictions, and they include using Common units of up to level 10 maximum. No Elixirs are allowed, and the Pyromancer unit is actually banned. So if you use that unit during this tournament, you will be disqualified.

If you win this Beginner Cup, you will be rewarded with 35,000 $WF tokens and 1 Premium Pack. While second best secures 20,000 $WF tokens and 2 Standard Packs. And the 3rd best player of this event gains 15,000 $WF tokens and 3 Basic Plus Packs. The total prize pool value is 92,000 $WF tokens, which Community Gaming displays as being worth $995.1 USD. But that is based on the token’s market price on August 4 and thus may not reflect the real token value by the time rewards are distributed.

Wild Forest Beginner Cup begins on August 9 at 1 PM UTC. And all participants must be present at that time and ready to communicate through the Matchroom section of the Community Gaming bracket page. This first day will have 64 players battle it out in strategic 1v1 RTS gameplay until there are only 8 players left. This means that Day 1 will include 4 Rounds in the Winner Bracket and 6 Rounds in the Loser Bracket.

The top 8 players will then play on August 10, starting from 1 PM UTC. Day 2 is the final day of the tournament. And as such will be played until there is a cup winner. For this part of the event, all matches will be livestreamed and announced in advance. So even if you can’t play, it might be well worth tuning in to watch others battle it out. And see if there are any skills and strategies that you might be able to learn from these intense competitive matches.
