The Machines Arena Adds in New Familiars

Directive Games has revealed the inclusion of 3 fresh Familiars in the in-game store of their top-down hero shooter, The Machines Arena. Gad, Pix, and Flux are the latest trio of Familiars to be introduced, taking the place of the older lineup in the in-game shop of The Machines Arena. Each familiar is available in three unique versions, which are only accessible for buying until the end of the first Open Beta Season. Additionally, they can be minted on Ronin.

New familiars have 3 different variations making it a total of 9 companions that you can buy and mint. Each version is designed around a specific enhancement, offering a variety of benefits. For instance, one version might enhance attack power, another might boost defense, and a third variant reduces the cooldown period for all skills, except for ultimate abilities.

Out of the three fresh sets, two are marked as Rare and one is considered Epic. You have the option to purchase each new companion individually. Or you can acquire them together at a discounted rate, as stated in the Discord announcement. Additionally, the announcement mentions that once you own them, you can mint them on Ronin.

These familiar sets are rolling out just after the first collection was pulled from the shelves. That particular edition was accessible from the moment the beta started until the May 28th. These new exclusive familiars, will only be on sale until the end of Season 1.

At this point, it’s not entirely clear when the season will actually end. The Machines Arena launched its beta on April 23rd, becoming a free-to-play game for Android and Windows devices. Interested players can get the PC and Android versions from the game’s official site. With the PC version also accessible through the Epic Games Store.
