    What’s New in the Game?

This month, Off The Grid received a major update ahead of its Steam debut:

    • 30% Reduction in Time-to-Kill (TTK) across all weapons, resulting in faster, deadlier combat.
    • New spread mechanics to balance out the reduced TTK, especially impacting airborne and moving players.
    • Ranked Mode testing is now happening in the background to fine-tune matchmaking between new and seasoned players.
    • Aim assist and scope-related bugs have been addressed to improve gunplay.
    • Legendary Weapons now appear in matches, including names like VultureKelowna, and Kite. These items offer superior performance but are only available in-match.

The update also saw a new Battle Pass, bringing two cosmetic themes — CleanUp Crew and Hopper Pilot — plus an OTG Pro Pack featuring the Crash Test Ted skin.

    What Is Off The Grid?

Off The Grid is a free to play, third-person cyberpunk shooter set on the dystopian Teardrop Island. Designed by Gunzilla Games and helmed creatively by Neill Blomkamp, the game combines 150-player PvP battle royale combat with a 60-hour narrative campaign.

    Some key gameplay features include:

    • Cybernetic Enhancements: Players use customizable cyberlimbs that unlock abilities like cloaking, missile barrages, and leap boosts.
    • Match-Based Looting: Weapons and cyberlimbs are found during gameplay, with dynamic item drops like Legendary gear now entering the fray.
    • Narrative Influence: Player decisions impact future missions and storylines, offering a more tailored, RPG-lite progression.

OTG also integrates blockchain tech through its native GUNZ token and NFT-based items. Players can mint in-game items as NFTs and trade them via the Gunzilla Marketplace. But the Steam version is expected to be non-crypto due to the platform’s restrictions.
