The Frosty Fiesta is a special holiday period that doubles the weekly reward pools of the Premier Bounty Board for 2 weeks. Giving Axie Infinity players a chance to earn a share of over 60k $AXS across 3 categories. From December 16th to December 29th by completing various bounties.
The Frosty Fiesta is a holiday campaign that brings a snowy makeover to App.axie while doubling weekly rewards for the Premier Bounty Board (PBB) from December 16th to December 29th. This means that for 2 weeks, there is a total of 60k+ $AXS tokens up for grabs. The amount of Fortune Slips needed to access the Premier Bounty Board has even been reduced from 200 to 100. Making it easier for more players to dive right in and attempt to make the most of this special Christmas event.
During this limited time period, all 3 PBB weekly reward pools have been doubled. This means that instead of there being 11,500 $AXS for the main PBB Pool. There is now 23,000 $AXS up for grabs, or a total of 46,000 $AXS tokens over the course of 2 weeks. As of writing, that’s a total of about $340k worth of tokens, or around $170k per week.
Weekly PBB Leaderboard Rewards are actually more than doubled. As they now offer 3100 instead of 1500 $AXS tokens, for a total of 6200 $AXS over the 2-week period. You need to rank in the top 400 to qualify for leaderboard rewards. Previously, you needed to be in the top 300. Now, if you rank between 301st and 400th place, you will receive 1 $AXS token. All of the other positions now receive double the usual amount. Meaning the winner is now rewarded with 200 $AXS tokens (~$1480) instead of 100.
How to Participate?
To participate in this holiday event, you need to unlock the Premier Bounty Board. This can be done by claiming a Premier Ticket or by redeeming Fortune Slips, of which you now need 100 instead of 200.
The Premier Ticket can be earned by collecting 1000 Standard Bounty Points. While this requirement hasn’t changed, what is now different is that the team has added in a new bounty for Axie Infinity players to complete in order to make it easier to reach the required number of points. This new quest rewards you with 25 points for feeding any of your axies with coco.
