Introduction:
In this game, you will take on the role of a god-chef in a massive pot called Apeiron to cook the best dumpling soup that no one has ever tasted.
The game Apeiron describes itself as a roguelike x god game, where the roguelike component involves navigating through tower levels with different types of rooms. In the god game aspect, your character is both a planet and a god, where dumpling apostles reside.
Game Overview:
In the game, you progress through levels with rooms, encountering a floor boss at the end of each level. Each floor consists of several rooms that you must pass sequentially. The rooms are divided into three types: event, shop, and battle. Event rooms have two types and often depend on the answer you give in that room. For example, by sparing your dumpling, you may gain a level, coins, or upgrade one of your artifacts by giving it a positive property. If you choose not to spare your dumpling, you can still gain a level and coins but give the artifact a negative property based on the question asked. These properties have their pros and cons, with positive properties providing fewer stat bonuses compared to negative ones. However, the negative properties often have minimal impact on the game.

The game also involves managing your dumplings. During battles, you position them on the battlefield for better positioning, and between battles, you can combine them to enhance the abilities of your preferred dumpling. The different dumpling classes play a crucial role, with six classes available: rogue, mage, healer, tank, warrior, and archer. Each class has three skill cards with various effects, such as buffing you, buffing dumplings, dealing damage, healing, or providing shields. All dumplings are unique, with each one having randomly assigned skill cards.

The real-time battle mode displays action cards from your character’s and dumplings decks at the bottom right of the screen. You also have mana, which is used to play action cards. You can use cards by spending mana on actions, usually ranging from 1 to 4, or by discarding a card, which requires burning 1 mana. Actions costing 1 mana are generally better not discarded but used instead.
Earning Opportunities:
Is it possible to earn in the game? Yes, and over time, the ways to earn in Apeiron will increase. Currently, the main earning opportunity for players who haven’t invested in the game is participating in the Boss Rush event and ranking high on the leaderboard to receive various rewards in the form of NFTs, stables, and other prizes. For those who have bought NFTs, there is the possibility of increased income and various boosts, as well as planet breeding for subsequent sale.
PvP Component:
Currently, the PvP component of the game is in closed testing, available to a limited group of people. PvP will be a 1v1 mode where you command six dumplings, four of which you can deploy on the battlefield, and, of course, the planet – the main NFT with its talent tree that you can control during PvP. The battle takes place in a best-of-three series, lasting until one player achieves 2 victories. Between matches, you can change the placement of your dumplings and release others from your six.
Conclusion:
The gameplay of the game is quite enjoyable, without problems or difficulties in familiarizing yourself with it. The game immediately throws you into the gameplay, explaining all the basics of controls and game mechanics. The only thing that might be confusing is how to activate Boss Rush mode, which is done through the project’s Discord by connecting your Apeiron account.
One significant piece of news is that Apeiron has transitioned from the Polygon network to the Ronin network. This news is sure to please players as all their assets have increased in value by 2 to 4 times due to this change, the upcoming PvP mode, and other innovations.
