HYTOPIA is Now Available in Alosed Beta Testing for NFT Holders
HYTOPIA, a voxel-based gaming platform, has started its closed beta phase, allowing NFT holders of HYTOPIA Worlds, Gray Boys, and Avatars to test the game on two available servers.
This week, the holders of Worlds, Gray Boys, and Avatars NFTs will gain access to the initial version of the game. If you own any of these NFTs, you’re now able to experience a preliminary version of what will later be an open-source gaming platform accessible to all for game creation and experience development.
To participate:
- You must sign up for the HYTOPIA Testers Discord server
- Verify ownership of eligible NFTs at the HYTOPIA Testers Discord
- And after connecting to collab.land, for gaining access to beta testing.
Participants also need a Minecraft account, as the current HYTOPIA client uses Minecraft servers for testing. The development team plans to to introduce HYTOPIA’s own servers in the future and remove the need for Minecraft accounts while maintaining compatibility with legacy Minecraft servers.
According to the Discord post, this game client is in a fully playable state, allowing testers to enjoy all the gameplay mechanics present in 2 playable servers. These two servers are called Avatars Battle Arena and Gray Boys Factions.
- Avatars Battle Arena is a 20 vs. 20 battle royale that puts players in a free-for-all, “scavenger-style shooter arena” that continuously closes in as the match goes on.
- Gray Boys Factions is a faction-based PvP server where players can create teams of up to 20 members and raid each other to fight for dominance of the server.
