Hunters On-Chain launches Play-to-Airdrop campaign
Polish game developer BoomLand has announced the strategic migration of its popular role-playing game, Hunters On-Chain, from the Polygon platform to Immutable zkEVM. This significant move promises to enhance user experience, accelerate transactions, and significantly reduce fees. Additionally, as mentioned here, the Immutable wallet operates independently without requiring additional connections, theoretically increasing the number of external (web2) audience for projects.
This migration will lead to the launch of a play-to-airdrop campaign with over 250 million BOOM tokens available over two months.
What is Hunters On-Chain?
Hunters On-Chain is a dynamic, free-to-play action RPG that first captivated players in 2023. Continuing the legacy of its predecessor, Hunters Arena, this game introduces new web3 elements such as NFTs and the $BGEM and $BOOM tokens. Players enjoy fast-paced battles, strategic gameplay, and the opportunity to complete various quests and missions. The game is available on both browser and mobile platforms.
Play-to-Airdrop campaign
The migration is accompanied by a play-to-airdrop campaign, distributing over 250 million BOOM tokens over two months. The primary token, BOOM, will be used in all BoomLand projects. Currently, it is primarily used in Hunters On-Chain, both in-game and out-of-game.
Details of the Play-to-Airdrop campaign
The campaign will be divided into two seasons, each lasting one month. The first season starts in June. This event focuses on gameplay, where players earn points by completing tasks, quests, and referring new players. Rewards include one-time achievements, daily tasks, and simple referral programs. Unlike other campaigns, there’s no need for social media engagement like Discord or retweets.
Everyone starts on equal footing in this first play-to-airdrop event. Existing Hunter NFTs cannot be used. The game is free for all, starting with a common, free Hunter. Players use this Hunter to earn points and eventually acquire a premium Hunter.
There are three ways to get a premium Hunter. First, hold Genesis Hunters in your wallet by the snapshot on May 27th, 3pm UTC. Players get one Premium Hunter for each Genesis Hunter they hold. Second, participate and win in various contests and giveaways during the campaign. Third, trade or purchase one on the open market.
How to start playing Hunters On-Chain

- Create an Account: Register on BoomLand. If you already have an account, simply log in.
- Download the App: Hunters On-Chain is available on Android and iOS platforms. Download the official app from the respective app store.
- Start Playing: After installing the app, launch it and start playing with the free common Hunter. As you progress, you can earn or purchase premium Hunters and other in-game assets.
