Axie Classic Competitive Season 5 has gone live, featuring over 35,000 AXS in prizes and exciting new updates. Players and guilds will compete in Mini Tournaments, climb leaderboards, and battle for a coveted spot in the Axie World Cup. With the return of the Golden Wheel, the introduction of Coliseum Chests, and a new Battle Pass, this season offers intense competition and thrilling rewards.
Season Highlights and Rewards
The rewards for Season 5 are nothing short of impressive. A total of 35,600 AXS is available, with rewards distributed across different categories:
- Mini Tournaments: 14,000 AXS (500 AXS per day over four weeks)
- Golden Wheel: 5,600 AXS (200 AXS per day over four weeks)
- Guild Leaderboard: 10,000 AXS
- Guild Milestones: 3,000 AXS
- Season Championship: 3,000 AXS
Players will have until September 19th, 8 AM PH / 8 PM EST, to climb the ranks and secure their share of the rewards. Guilds should also take note, as the top eight will earn Placement Points for the upcoming Guild Wars.
Guild Leaderboard and Milestones
Guilds have been a core part of Axie Classic’s competitive scene, and this season is no different. With a prize pool of 10,000 AXS for the Guild Leaderboard and another 3,000 AXS in Guild Milestones, there are plenty of reasons to join forces. The Guild Leaderboard will close at the same time as the Arena Leaderboard, so guild members must strategize to maximize their rewards.
Mini Tournaments are back, and they’ve undergone some changes. The daily prize pool is now 500 AXS, split into two shifts. Each shift lasts 13 hours, allowing for smooth transitions between battles. Draws will no longer count against your total battle count, giving players more opportunities to secure victories.
The MMR system has also been fine-tuned, notably for Master and Challenger ranks. The top tiers will convert to the old ranking system, and the decay rate has been halved to give players a better chance of maintaining their spots. New guild members will need to wait until the end of the next day to start earning Guild Points.
New Coliseum Chest in Axie Classic
This season also brings the Coliseum Chest, a new item that players can earn in the Cursed Coliseum. These chests can contain valuable Artifacts or a spin on the Golden Wheel. To start a new session in the Coliseum, players must have at least one empty chest slot.
The Season 5 Battle Pass is now live, giving you the chance to climb the ranks and win Artifacts and Gold. The Premium Pass is packed with extra rewards, including AXS, SLP, and the exclusive Lantern Legend banner. Mystic Axie holders can purchase the Premium Pass at a 50% discount.
