The open beta of Medieval Empires has been started
Web3 strategy game Medieval Empires developed by blockchain gaming studio MoonGaming stepped into open beta. On Tuesday, May 14th, the game will become publicly available to everyone. Without a need of an invitation, or compulsory staking of $MEE, the game’s utility token. The players can simply download the game from the Medieval Empires website, start building their empire and enjoy the game for free on Windows and Mac. So if you haven’t played already, now might be the time to give it a try.
Ahead of this launch the game was updated to version 1.4.0 on May 9th, where the UX/UI and sounds were improved. Also, new tutorial steps have been added that make it easier to understand how to use the Player Profile and find Invitations & Offers to properly settle in a new county. Server performance is said to have been improved, while various events have been adjusted to generally add new ways to score points.
Medieval Empires Gameplay and Economy
Medieval Empires is an online strategy game. Action takes its place in the late 13th century at the dawn of the Ottoman Empire. You take the role of a medieval war hero who starts his new life as the leader of a small village. Slowly grow your village into a powerful stronghold as you complete daily missions, train heroes, trade, fight invaders and more in a PvE area. Participate in various events, PvE missions and tactical PvP battles for a chance at earning various rewards including $MEE token.
The $MEE token is the utility token in Medieval Empires. It provides many in-game benefits such as VIP status, land access, daily rewards, and more. In order to access these benefits, please connect your wallet and stake the required amount of MEE tokens. Players can also buy their own Land NFT on OpenSea to become a landlord in the game.
Conclusion
Current version of Medieval Empires is only available on MAC and PC. Mobile devices version will be available at some point in Q4 2024. Game can be a little passive at the start, while you deal with PVE enviroment. But as you gradually improve your town PvP mode and various missions become available.
